HOW TO JOIN

Joining is easy. Newcastle Aikido encourages new students to take up beginners' packages to help reduce costs and firm-up your commitment.

 

NEW PEOPLE ARE EXPECTED TO VISIT THE DOJO AND WATCH A CLASS BEFORE SIGNING UP. 

 

Fees are charged on a monthly basis in return for which you can attend as many classes as you Have the time and energy to attend.

 

JOINING FEES

It costs adults $120 to join. This annual fee covers your insurance and membership fee. The children's joining fee is $100.

 

Beginners pay $115 per month and may attend any of the beginners' classes.

Regular students pay $155 per month.

Iaido students pay $50 on top of their regular fees.

Children pay $100 ( 5-14 year olds) or $110 (15-17 year olds) per month.

 

 

FEES & BEGINNERS' PACKAGES:

 

Beginners packages are a good way to get started - it encourages commitment and will save you some money. The packages includes a Keigogi (training uniform), membership/insurance, and 3 months worth of training and attendance to in house seminars.

 

The Beginners package allows the student to attend beginners classes as well as sword training and Zazen meditation so they can get a taste of all of the classes offered at Saku Shin Kan dojo. This can be up to 13 sessions a week and after three months the student will have a well-informed appreciation of the training.

 

We also have 6 & 12 month packages offering discounts to regular students or those keen to sign up to a longer-term commitment.
