Light sabers + Aikido + origami + Sushi = EASTER HOLIDAYS CAMP!!
The school holidays are almost upon us but WHAT TO DO WITH THE KIDS?
The good news is that we are running our popular School Holiday Aikido Camp during the second week of the April school holidays for two hours across four afternoons.
The camp will run from 3pm to 5pm, Tuesday 18th April to Friday 21st April.
We will also still be running our usual kids Aikido classes from 4pm to 5pm and all students attending the camp are welcome to do the Aikido classes.
The school holiday camp is a fun and informative program which we have run previously to expose children to various facets of Japanese culture.
The activities plan is:
Tuesday Special Aikido class (with lots of games!!).
Wednesday Origami (paper folding)
Thursday “Lightsabre” choreography (a new addition!)
Friday Preparation of Sushi rolls, tasting Japanese foods.
The cost for the full course is $80 per child (sorry, we will not split days)
Please advise Newcastle Aikikai ASAP of your interest as we will need to limit places.
We would ask that anyone wishing to attend please advise Sensi Darius by email (Darius@newcastleaikido.com)
Kids attending need not be enrolled Aikido students, so tell your friends!!
