GIVING BACK
TO OUR
COMMUNITY

At Newcastle Aikido, we believe a dojo should be a place where people can begin.

Over the years, we’ve quietly helped people into the dojo when circumstances have made it difficult for them to get here themselves.

Because sometimes, having somewhere to go, something to work towards and a good group of people around you can make a real difference.

We want to keep doing that.

From time to time, we’ll open nominations for someone in our local community who could genuinely benefit from being part of Newcastle Aikido.

Maybe they’re going through a difficult period. Maybe they’ve lost their confidence, become disconnected or simply need something positive to be part of.

If you know someone who you think could benefit from the dojo, you can nominate them.

We’ll ask you to tell us a little about them, what they’re going through and why you think Newcastle Aikido could make a difference.

We’ll then select someone to receive the opportunity to train with us and become part of the dojo community.

WANT TO HELP SOMEONE
GET STARTED?

You can also contribute towards helping someone access the dojo. If you’ve benefited from being part of this community, you can help give someone else the same opportunity.

You don’t need to know who you’re helping.

You can simply help us open the door for someone who might need it.

This is something we’ve believed in for years.

People helping people.
